The process works by spraying a small amount of vegetable cleaning solution on the gum and then hot steam is pressured onto the gum and agitated with a brush attachment, diluting the gum into a liquid that then washes away. Again not a fast solution but environmentally friendly but still a laboriously long process to remove gum.
Unlike the hot pressure washer equipment the steam cleaning equipment can remove gum from internal areas like carpets, flooring, furniture etc. By combining high temperature steam and a vegetable based cleaning solution, chewing gum can be removed in seconds. The hot steam generated will disinfectant the area being cleaned, killing bacteria and neutralizing odours. The steam is heated to 165c and is expelled at the point of contact onto the area to be cleaned. As the cleaning takes place the integrated vacuum removes any excess water.
